Ambient Engineering was incorporated in 1994.  Originally located in Boston, it is now headquartered in Concord, Massachusetts.  Ambient is comprised of engineers and scientists who are dedicated to environmentally sound development, restoration and use of natural resources. 

TJ Stevenson

Mr. Stevenson is President of Ambient Engineering, Inc. 

Dr. Thomas J. Stevenson brings twenty-five years' experience in environmental science and engineering to his position as the President of Ambient Engineering, Inc. This experience included hazardous waste investigations and remediation; landfill and power plant siting closure studies; industrial audits and water resource evaluation and permitting. 

Dr. Stevenson is a Licensed Site Professional in the State of Massachusetts and is certified to provide reliable opinions about contaminated sites and remedial designs. He is a Director of the Licensed Site Professional Association and the representative of the American Consulting Engineers Council to the Waste Site Advisory Committee which provides advice to the state on revision of the Massachusetts Contingency Plan (MCP). 

Ken Pyzocha

Mr. Pyzocha is Vice President of Ambient Engineering, Inc.

Mr. Pyzocha is Vice President for Ambient Engineering, Inc. in Concord, Massachusetts. He has twenty-four years experience with industrial manufacturing, environmental, health and safety compliance engineering and project management. His experience includes thirteen years in private industry and eleven years in a senior project manager consulting position. He has participated in or served as project manager on projects involving a multitude of regulatory compliance issues.

He has completed air, NPDES, Industrial Wastewater and Stormwater permitting, designed and implemented pollution prevention/waste minimization, remediation and recycling systems, managed ongoing industrial wastewater operations, written, managed, and implemented ICP, SPCC, SWPP, BMP, OPA and Emergency Response plans, and provided other industrial site permitting assistance as required. He has implemented RCRA, TSCA, AST/UST requirements along with health and safety programs at industrial facilities and institutions. He has developed training programs and delivered EHS training program requirements. He has conducted various compliance audits, Phase I and Phase II ESA’s, property transaction due diligence efforts, and environmental management systems reviews.

Mr. Pyzocha’s professional registrations include a Professional Engineering license, a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager, Master Level, a Toxic Use Reduction Planner and a Massachusetts Grade 6 Certified Wastewater Operator. He has also completed his 40-hour OSHA Hazwoper training.
